Just finished a 4 day trip up to the interior of BC. Sept 2009 A group went up and roomed in Salmon arm and played Salmon Arm Golf Course (very nice course and can play tough from the back two sets of tees) Canoe Creek Golf Course (Nice track but a bit of a let down when compared with Salmon Arm or Talking Rock, the practice area was a little on the weak side, but the rolled bent grass greens were very nice and quite fast) Talking Rock Golf Course (Played it twice, spectacular course with a great practice area including a huge chipping green and driving range. The greens were running about 12 on the stimp meter and the approaches to the greens required a high solidly struck shot to hold. I would reccommend this course to anyone who enjoys a challange or you can play the white tees and the course opens up to the high handicapper. Weak point is the food in the clubhouse, not very good and pricey, try the bannock and soup it was reasonable and good)

Cheers

What were the green fees like for the the three golf courses – Salmon Arm, Canoe Creek, and Talking Rock Golf Courses?
Also, do they allow walkers or strictly power carts?

LaughTalking rock was $72.

Canoe Creek $80.

Salmon Arm $79.

You can walk all 3 but Salmon Arm was a little hilly,Talking Rock was by far the nicest to play, the greens were very tricky and hard to read the par 3s were tough but a lot of fun, oh and don't eat the food expensive and , i played like but i think that was because i didn't get much sleep, tip of the day, never room with a drinker oh am i whinning, well i guess i'm in the right place. A couple of us played Tobiano on the way back it was $130. cart included free range balls and tees, beautiful coarse, the fairways were like our greens at the coast, only took 2and a half hrs from Van. I think it's by far the best coarse i'v ever played, can't wait for next year.
